Supporting Asthma Care
The National Asthma Council Australia is the country’s leading national asthma body. We are a not-for-profit organisation working to improve health outcomes for people with asthma.
Our Sensitive Choice® program promotes and supports good asthma care in the community.
Objectives of the Sensitive Choice® program
| 1. | Make Australians and New Zealanders aware of the need to manage their asthma. | |
| 2. |
Encourage manufacturers and suppliers to produce products and services that are low irritant and low allergy that may benefit people with asthma and allergies.
|
|
| 3. | Provide the public with a way of identifying products and services that may benefit people with asthma and/or allergies and improve health and wellbeing. | |
| 4. | Generate sponsorship funds to enable both the Australian and the New Zealand asthma organisations to continue their work in improving asthma outcomes. |
How the Sponsorship Fees are used
