Bekaert Mattress Ticking
Mattress ticking is the fabric covering your mattress (and mattress base) and is as functional as it is aesthetic. Tickings, originally described as "a strong, closely woven linen or cotton fabric, of which ticks for mattresses are made", are now constructed not only from jacquard woven fabrics, but from jacquard knitted fabrics, which give a soft, luxurious touch to the sleeping surface.
To provide a clean and healthy sleeping environment, we finish our fabrics incorporating HealthGuard™ treatment. HealthGuard™ is not only an anti-bacterial, anti-microbial treatment, but importantly also kills dust mites, one of the major triggers of asthma.
